Rachel Dane
Rachel Dane is an intern within the CRESS department. Rachel graduated from Minnechaug Regional Highschool before pursuing an associate's degree in Human Services at Greenfield Community College. She then went on to pursue her BA in Social Work at Our Lady of the Elms College, and is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2023. Along her educational journey she has interned within the Hampshire County House of Corrections and is now working for Behavioral Health Network as a counselor in a residential program for men in early recovery from substance use. Rachel’s inspiration for this line of work stems from her experience working within the jail system and seeing the number of individuals incarcerated for crimes that came as a result of socioeconomic hardships. Dane says she is passionate about helping individuals get connected with services needed to improve their overall quality of life.
