    Amherst's beloved "Merry Maple" tree is scheduled to be removed from the town common later this month. Please join the Amherst Public Shade Tree Committee to commemorate the life of this tree. This will be an inclusive, family-friendly event where we can gather in celebration under the tree's branches one last time, and share memories, snacks, and music. All are welcome.
