Event cancelled due to issue at the Munson Library facility. South Amherst residents are invited to attend a general meeting of the newly formed District 5 Neighborhood Association on Wednesday, January 8, 6-7:30pm at the Munson Library. The purpose of this meeting is to meet members of the Steering Committee, build membership, and choose areas of focus for the association's work. Some areas currently identified include the Hickory Ridge Golf Course development plans, reuse or repurposing the vacant South Amherst School, relocating a new fire station and DPW facility, and South Amherst Village Center development.
