[ARCHIVED] Important Information Regarding Western MA Electric (WEMCO) and Today's Weather Forecast

The Western Massachusetts Electric Company (WEMCO) has notified the Town of Amherst that is it preparing for power outages as a result of today's weather forecasts of heavy icing. WEMCO is requesting that customers experiencing an outage be sure to contact them by phone at 800-286-2000, as they may not already by aware of any outage.
