Members of the Amherst Fire Department will be conducting a brief ceremony on Saturday September 11th, to honor all of the firefighters, police officers and others who lost their lives during the events of September 11th, 2001. The ceremony will take place in front of the Central Fire Station, 68 North Pleasant Street. Members will gather at 9:45am with the ceremony beginning prompt at 10am.
