The Select Board is giving serious consideration to appointing Assistant Town Manager/Finance Director John Musante to the position of Town Manager, effective on Larry Shaffer’s September 30, 2010 retirement date. This would be a “permanent” appointment, rather than an “interim” appointment, and there would be no such search process.

Additionally, public comment on the topic is invited at the September 13th Select Board meeting, to be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Room at Town Hall.
