Dog licenses expire on March 31st of each year. You may obtain your dog license either in-person, by mail, or online. Fees are: $5.00 for spay/neuter, and $15.00 for NON-spay/neuter. Licenses must be renewed before June 1st or a late fee of $30.00 will be added to the license fee.
IN-PERSON: Please present a rabies and spay/neuter certificate (if applicable), and payment in the form of cash or check.

BY MAIL: Please include: 1. rabies and spay/neuter certificate (if applicable), 2. a check payable to the “Town of Amherst” in the appropriate fee, and 3. a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Requests that don’t include the SASE will be held in the Town Clerk’s office for pick-up.
