[ARCHIVED] Proposed Bylaw Amendment - 3.8: License Fees: Innholders, Common Victuallers, and Lunch Carts

The Town Council held a first reading of proposed bylaw amendments to General Bylaw 3.8: License Fees: Innholders, Common Victuallers, and Lunch Carts, at the regular Town Council meeting on Monday, August 15, 2022. A second reading and potential vote is scheduled for the Town Council meeting to be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.

Unless otherwise provided by general law or this Charter, every vote adopting, amending, or rescinding a bylaw shall become effective at the expiration of 14 days after final passage or a specified later date.

The proposed amendments to General Bylaw 3.8: License Fees: Innholders, Common Victuallers, and Lunch Carts is as follows, with insertions shown in red text and deletions shown in red strikethrough text; the current General Bylaws are available online here:

3.8         LICENSE FEES: INNHOLDERS, COMMON VICTUALLERS, AND LUNCH CARTS

FEES FOR INNHOLDERS, COMMON VICTUALLERS, AND LUNCH CARTS

Fee for innholder license: $50.00

Fee for common victuallers license: $50.00

Fee for lunch carts license: $100.00

The fees for innholders, common victuallers, and lunch carts are as indicated in the above data block shall be set by the Board of License Commissioners in accordance with M.G.L. c. 40 Sec. 22F.

This notice is posted in compliance with Charter Section 2.10(a), and Town Council Rules of Procedure rule 8.3.
