[ARCHIVED] Free Paper Shredding Event

On September 20, Western Massachusetts residents and businesses may bring up to two recycling bins of documents for free secure shredding by PROSHRED, Inc.
All papers will be shredded on-site and then recycled. The event will run from 9am to 1pm at the following sites:

Smith Vocational High School
80 Locust Street (Route 9), Northampton

Staples Office Supplies
259 Mohawk Trail (Route 2), Greenfield

The following items are shred-worthy:
Cancelled or blank checks, legal papers, credit card statements and offers, income tax documents, bank/financial statements, medical records, documents with Social Security or credit card information.

This event is sponsored by the Springfield Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) Advisory Board. For more information call the Franklin County Solid Waste Management District at 413-772-2438.
