WATER SHUT OFF NOTICE

WOODSIDE AVE

NORTHAMPTON RD

WALNUT ST

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

THURSDAY AUGUST 11th, 2022

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE


As part of the Northampton Rd reconstruction project the Department of Public Works will be shutting off the water to a portion of Woodside Ave and Walnut St on Thursday, August 11th.  Water will be turned off at 7:30 am to the following properties:

 

32 Northampton Rd                            

50 Northampton Rd

15 Woodside Ave

21 Woodside Ave

27 Woodside Ave

33 Woodside Ave

35 Woodside Ave

38 Woodside Ave

41 Woodside Ave

17 Walnut St

 

Water should be restored by 3:00 pm or earlier.

It would be advisable to draw water prior to shut off for in-house use.

 

When service is restored you should run water to clear up any discoloration and purge any air trapped in your pipes.  You may need to run water for what feels like an uncomfortable length of time in order to clear up the issue (sometimes 20-30 minutes).
