[ARCHIVED] Proposed Amendment to Zoning Bylaw Article 14, Temporary Zoning

The Town Council will hold a first reading on a proposed revision to Zoning Bylaw Article 14, Temporary Zoning at the regular Town Council meeting on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. The meeting will be broadcast live on Amherst Media channel 17 and live streamed online: http://161.77.57.225/CablecastPublicSite/watch/3?channel=3 

A second reading and vote on the proposed changes is scheduled on Monday December 6, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom. Members of the public may join the meeting by clicking the link here: https://amherstma.zoom.us/j/87571112171 or by calling (646) 876-9923 or (312) 626-6799, and entering webinar ID when prompted: 875 7111 2171. The proposed amendment would extend the date the temporary zoning would apply, from December 31, 2021 to December 31, 2022. Additional information is available in the document linked here. Comments regarding the proposed amendments may be submitted to the Town Council via the online comment form www.AmherstMA.gov/CouncilComments, residents are also welcome to speak during the public comment period at regular Town Council meetings.

This notice is posted in compliance with Charter Section 2.10(a), and Town Council Rules of Procedure 8.3(a) and 8.3(b).
