[ARCHIVED] Think Before You Swim!

Puffers Warning Water Temp Photo

With warming Spring air temperatures, please be aware of swimming this early in the year. Bodies of water such as Puffer's Pond can still be very COLD and swimming can be dangerous due to the risk of shock to the human body, which can occur in a matter of minutes.

We ask that you consider this and think before you swim!

Signs will be posted at Puffer's Pond beaches and the Stanley Street bridge with this advisory as well.
