Amherst Town Manager, Paul Bockelman presents his proposed FY21 Municipal Budget to the Amherst Town Council on Monday, June 29th at 6:30 PM. The Town Council had previoulsy voted unanimously on April 27, 2020 to modify the May 1st deadline established in Charter Section 5.4(b) for the Town Manager to submit a proposed budget for FY21 to the Town Council on June 29, 2020.
This budget includes all aspects of Town operations including Municipal, Schools, Library, and Capital for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021 (FY21). Once adopted, this budget will supplant the one-month budget previously adopted by the Town Council. The five-year Capital Plan is also incorporated as part of this budget submission.

Budget Public Hearing: The Amherst Town Council & Finance Committee will hold a public hearing on the FY21 budget on July 13, 2020 at 7:00 pm via Zoom: https://amherstma.zoom.us/j/91129049488
The Finance Committee will review and make a recommendation to the Town Council on the budget. Meetings will be held between June 30-July 14.
The Finance Committe is scheduled to make a recommendation on July 14and the Council is scheduled to vote on the budget on July 20.
