The Amherst Planning Board forum on the draft Master Plan has been re-scheduled to February 3 at 7:05 p.m. This will provide Amherst residents with a more extensive opportunity to review the draft Plan and to submit comments.
As part of its regularly scheduled meeting, the Planning Board will hold a public forum on the draft Master Plan on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 beginning at 7:05 p.m. in the Town Room, Amherst Town Hall. All Amherst citizens are invited. Following the forum, the Planning Board will make any necessary changes, and then adopt the Amherst Master Plan at a subsequent meeting.
An electronic version of the draft Plan and Map can be viewed on the Town of Amherst website at the link below. Copies of the draft Plan are available for review at the Amherst Planning Department in Town Hall, and at the Jones Library, North Amherst Library and Munson Memorial Building in South Amherst.
The Planning Board invites written or emailed public comment on the draft Master Plan. Public comments on the draft Master Plan should be submitted on the webpage (see the link below), in writing (Amherst Planning Department, Town Hall, 4 Boltwood Avenue, Amherst, MA, 01002), or emailed to planning@amherstma.gov.
