In accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) regulations for the Mini-Entitlement Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the Amherst CDBG Advisory Committee will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Room, Town Hall (4 Boltwood Ave.), Amherst, to:
Receive public input and comments on current activities of the 2017 and 2018 grants. The committee encourages residents to attend to provide their views on the outcomes and effectiveness of the CDBG activities, which include the following:
2017: Amherst Housing Authority parking lot improvements at Watson Farms
2018: Town of Amherst—update to ADA Transition Plan
2018: Town of Amherst—East Hadley Road Multi-use path
2018: Social Services—Amherst Survival Center; Amherst Community Connections; Family Outreach of Amherst; Center for New Americans; The Literacy Project
