Shoulder Paving

Department of Public Works crews will begin preparing Cowls Rd for the addition of parallel parking spaces on Monday, July 30th, 2018. The shoulder on the south side of Cowls Rd between The Harp and the new Cowls Lumber delivery entrance will be excavated and paved in preparation for parking along the south side of the road.

Department of Public works crews are scheduled to begin paving the base coat of asphalt on Tuesday, August 1st, 2018. Paving operations are expected to last two to three days.

The road will remain open to local traffic during construction but residents should expect possible delays and exercise caution when passing through the construction area.

All work is weather dependent, should inclement weather occur the schedule will either be pushed forward one day or further announcements will be made with a revised schedule.


 ON-STREET PARKING IS PROHIBITED DURING CONSTRUCTION
OPERATIONS- VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED
 SLOW DOWN IN WORK ZONES
