A Quiet Passion Ltd is currently in production of the feature film entitled A Quiet Passion directed by Terrence Davies. There will be filming throughout the Amherst area over the course of three days beginning Monday, June 15, 2015 through Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
In order to facilitate filming, the production company has obtained permission from the Town of Amherst to control traffic intermittently on Strong Street in front of Wildwood Cemetery, on Main Street in front of the Emily Dickinson Museum property, as well as limiting traffic exiting onto Main Street from Churchill, Seeley and Webster Street.
There may be slight delays for traffic using these roads, however the roads will not closed, local traffic will be allowed through and no driveways will be blocked at anytime. Amherst Police Department will have officers on duty to assist with the production.
Parking meters on Main Street between Lessey and Triangle Streets were also reserved for the companies exclusive use for those three days. No Parking Signs will be in place. Please plan accordingly.
