Several Amherst homeowners have contacted the Department of Public Works to report a recent mailing about "water line insurance." This mailing is not from any Town office. It appears to be a sales device of a private company. The Town is not recommending water line insurance. We believe this is strictly junk mail. Further, residents and homeowners should be assured that the Town is not sharing billing or information with any external parties.
