On February 4, 2015 these officers were awarded a Letter of Merit for their great work in solving a regional burglary ring which has thus far resulted in the arrest of 3 individuals. The arrested individuals were responsible for over 100 house burglaries in Amherst, Northampton, Easthampton and other Hampshire and Berkshire County homes. This Letter of Merit, awarded by their peers at the Amherst Police Department, recognizes these officers for the exceptional job they have done!
