He was spotted by some young women who in turn called 911. The responding officers located the man on the south end of the pond. He was placed under arrest at the scene.

Fitzgerald was held at the Hampshire County House of Corrections in lieu of $5000 cash bail. He is expected to be arraigned at the Eastern Hampshire District Court this morning. The matter remains under investigation.
