REC'D: 10/7/21 10:35 am. TOPICS: Public Hearings: 2:00 PM Proposed Zoning Bylaw amendments: Art 12, Definitions: add definition of Mixed-use Buildings. Art 3, Sec 3.325, Mixed-use Buildings: remove the definition of mixed-use buildings from Sec 3.325, amend the criteria & standards required for mixed-use buildings, set criteria to limit the amount of residential use & enclosed parking that would be allowed on the first or ground floor, set a minimum for the amount of non-residential use, other than enclosed parking, that would be allowed on the first or ground floor, require any dwelling units or enclosed parking on the first or ground floor to be located towards the rear of the building and designed to reduce visibility from the public right of way, add a requirement regarding the size/bedroom count of units, & authorize the Permit Granting Authority to determine which floor is considered the 1st or ground floor for sloping lots & lots with multiple frontages.
