Begin transitioning into the Check-in & Chat (Facebook Live Event) with Diana Painter, Deputy Director for the Coalition for Social Justice & chairs the MA Paid Leave Advocate’s Table & Alex Risley Schroeder, co-facilitates the Economic Opportunity Team of Massachusetts’ Essentials for Childhood Initiative will lead a presentation & discussion on Mass Family Leave Act, program provides temporary income replacement & job security to eligible workers who are welcoming a new child into their family, are struck by a serious illness or injury, need to take care of an ill or ailing relative, & for certain military considerations. Come learn your rights under the program. Conclusion & identifying actions & next steps. Commissioners will continue their monthly meeting and all other items that may lawfully come before this body.
