We have 2 Enrollment Options:

IN PERSON - Come to Amherst Leisure Services Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm to complete registration paperwork. Please bring CURRENT physical exam summary and immunization records in order to complete registrations.

ONLINE - For RETURNING families please use the Family Portal and update all forms and payments there. For NEW families, please click New Account and set up an account for your family. (Links above)

For online processing PLEASE NOTE: We must receive CURRENT physical exam summary and immunization records before your child attends our program. You may deliver physical/immunization paperwork in person, fax (413-259-2407), or email the LSSE Office & Grace Marczuk (see Contact Us below).

About the Program


The Prime Time Afterschool Program offers quality after-school child care with experienced directors and staff. We are licensed by EEC and accredited by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of Child Care Services. All staff receive comprehensive child care training and are certified in Red Cross First Aid and CPR. The Program follows the Amherst school system calendar. Please note: No Child Care is provided on Snow days or on Curriculum days.

  • Grades K-3: More Structured and more programming
  • Grades 4-6: Less Structured and more choice in activities 
Changes/Withdrawals
Withdrawals and day changes must be made in writing (email to lsse@amherstma.gov) prior to the month of change and fees will apply.

School Vacation Camps

 
  • February Vacation:  “Lions and Tigers and Bears”      
    Love animals? We do too and that’s why we’re dedicating February vacation  week to them! Big ones, little ones, furry ones, and not so furry ones . We’ll have a chance to see all of them at the Eric Carle Picture Book Museum or the Butterfly Place. Although programming for the wek will be focused on animals, participants will have the opportunity to engage in many other activities such as sports and arts & crafts.

  • April Vacation "Wide World of Sports": Most of us know how to play baseball and basketball, but how about ultimate frisbee or golf? We’ll play all of the them and many more at April vacation camp! In addition to sports and games related programming, campers will participate in a wide variety of other fun activities including arts & crafts, cooking, and spring nature walks. We’ll even take a trip to the Basketball Hall of Fame!

    Tuesday - Friday, April 21-24, 8:30 a.m.-4:45 p.m., $229
