January 4, 2017, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Amherst Community Connections
Are you, or someone you know, currently dealing with homelessness, or struggling not to get evicted? Do you feel that you have nowhere left to turn? ACC would like to help! We have just finished writing a grant that we will submit to the town of Amherst that would allow us to obtain housing subsidies for ten individuals who are struggling with housing insecurity but do not need as intensive assistance as our Housing First Program. If this grant is accepted, we will be able to subsidize housing for ten individuals up to $300/month. Individuals in the program will be required to pay 50% of their income towards housing each month as well, and will be provided with support services and case management at ACC so that they can hopefully become self-sufficient. If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, come to ACC’s incubator meeting this Wednesday, January 4th from 10 am to 11:30 am!
