Thursday, October 19, 2017
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Join us for "13th" - a powerful documentary which explores the history of race and the criminal justice system in the United States, by Ava DuVernay, the director of Selma. We will view 50 minutes this month, and the rest at the December meeting.
After the film and discussion, work will continue in small groups on the local action projects already underway:
- Climate Change-Racism Connections
- Schools Initiative
- Legislative Initiative
- Support for individual actions and conversations
Free & open to the public.
