UMASS Meals on Wheels Driver

Job Description
Pick up prepared meals at one of the UMASS dining commons, deliver to Amherst elders on your route sheet, and provide a well being check on each elder that is home.

Have the correct route sheet, pick up the correct number of hot and cold meals at appropriate UMASS dining commons at designated time, deliver to Amherst elders on your route sheet, provide a well-being check on the elders that are home, contact Maura Plante if elder not home.

Skills Required
Carrying approximately a 10 lb. box to be put in your car. Driver must have a registered, insured, reliable vehicle, and a valid driver’s license. Drivers be pleasant and conscientious.

Number of Hours Weekly
2 – 4 hours weekly

Days of the Week
One or two days each week Monday through Friday

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
